High School Education
I attended Rockford Christian High School where I graduated in May of 2019 with a 4.000 GPA on a 4.000 scale and High Honors. During my time in high school, I had the pleasure of participating in several clubs and teams including the Rockford Christian Robotics Club (on the FIRST Tech Challenge team #7715 Robotic Lions), the Swim Team (where I primarily swam the 200 and 500 freestyle), and the Science Olympiad Team (with a focus on the Robotic Arm, Wind Power, and Hovercraft events). I also had the opportunity to be a founding member of the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) team at Rockford Christian.
I am currently attending the University of Notre Dame pursuing a mechanical engineering major and a business minor. I am a junior and have a 3.974 GPA on a 4.000 scale. I have also received Dean’s List recognition for the six semesters that I have completed at the University. While at Notre Dame, I have had the opportunity to participate in several clubs including the Notre Dame Rocketry Team (NDRT), the Design, Build, Fly Team (DBF), and the Aviation Association of Notre Dame (AAND). Much of my work with these clubs has been focused on the production of models and simulations. I have conducted simulations for various rocket and rocket motor combinations for the rocketry team and worked to develop a MATLAB program that predicts the load distribution acting on the team’s aircraft design. In the future, I am hoping to increase my involvement with these teams and earn leadership positions for these teams.
